High Style Factor - Louise Roe

The first thing I love about this woman is the energy and the positivity she conveys with her appearance.
Her love for colors and motives also give her style happiness and joy of life. Exactly what many of us could use every now and then instead of following sad and rigid habits that cover us in black and white. And, I must admit, I have to speake for myself too here: I'm often in black and white myself, but Louise's style has this ability to inspire me to look for more color! Her playful way of wearing all kinds of different shapes of hats often gives her look more individuality and pep.
But what's also very important when looking at her style and look is her (..hem hem...) English smile, which, btw, is always perfectly white (new habits taken up in the US, perhaps Louise ;)?), and as imperfect as it is , it is a real welcoming, nice and funny pecularity that makes her...well...what Miss Louise Roe is: just adorable!

UNJU - ART Collection '11

UNJU from UNJU on Vimeo.

The Swiss Label UNJU asked me to present its expanded collection, which is presented through this lookbook clip. New in are the scarfs presenting designs made by the Japanese artist Araki, which perfectly represent and link the Swiss and the Japanise worlds and cultures.
The scarfs are available at Set&Sekt in Basel, Monsieur Dubois in Zurich and on
Every piece is one of a kind: the logo is embossed by hand, individually numbered and only available in limited edition. The scarfs are made in Georgette-silk and jersey, they are environmentally freindly and handcrafted to the highest standards in Europe with a lot of passion and love.

I particularly like the ARAKI in babyrose (the first one below).
Which one do you like the most?

Opening of the First European Femi9 Store

I was kindly invited for the opening of the first European flagshipstore of Femi9, a well-known Saudi Arabian label which has 50 stores in Saudi Arabia, Syria, Egypt, and Barhain.
Racha Fajjari, who also modelled for the S/S 2011 campaign of the label, opened her own Femi9 store in Seefeld, Zurich.
The collection of this summer is full of pastel nuances as well as bright colors like blue, yellow or orange. The presented cuts follow the Western trends of the last seasons, but the ethnic touch of the prints and the accessorises still remind of the Oriental influence and provenience of the brand.
Worth checking out! Especially if you're looking for something not to expensive, trendy, very feminine, and not worn by everybody (a huuuuuuuuuge plus, especially thinking about Switzerland's usual labels, right girls? ;) ).
Enjoy the photos!

The beautiful Racha Fajjari wearing Femi9, of course.

Me, checking out a beautiful bright blue gown, with my new Zara silk kimono, my good old golden leather H&M handbag and a good glass of champagne.
