Cocktail rings: chunky meets chic

The biggest the better, the more colorful the better: the trend of cocktail rings, jewellery items that definitely have been among the favorite accessories of the last couple of years, are a real boost of glamour that works with almost every outfit and style.

The fascination for these tiny treasured objects becomes bigger once their story is known:
cocktail rings became popular in the States during the 2o's, namely the prohibitionism period. During this time, cocktail rings were worn by women at illegal parties and were a status symbol that represented the independent and rebellious side of the wearer, who was illegally drinking alcohol.
Later on, cocktail rings became a stylish item to wear at important occasions and special evenings.

However, (thank God), today's fashion policy avoids any restrictive rule, so that cocktail rings can be worn at any time of the day and for any occasion. With their colors and forms, cocktail rings bring creativity as well as drama and elegance to our wardrobe.
